Description Designed for versatility and durability, the P 4228 white version is a full-range, weatherproof two-way loudspeaker suitable for standalone use or array setups. Its low-frequency section consists of two 8″ neodymium woofers with 2.5″ voice coils, arranged symmetrically to provide controlled horizontal dispersion. The high-frequency unit includes a 1.4″ neodymium compression driver paired with a 2.5″ diaphragm, mounted on a constant directivity CMD horn, delivering smooth and focused sound across a 110° horizontal and 60° vertical coverage area. This speaker operates across an 80 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range and can reach up to 129 dB SPL. The internal electronics feature LICC crossover and Active Mosfet Compression Driver Protection (AMCDP) to ensure optimal sound quality and reliability. The cabinet is roto-molded in a UV-protected material rated IP55 for resistance to weather elements. It includes four M8 brass inserts, a corrosion-resistant stainless steel U-bracket, and water-tight Amphenol IP67 4-pole connectors. The front grille is powder-coated aluminum with water-repellent backing, and the logo plate is rotatable.
