Arabia Arctica Pudas Light Blue Coffee Cup, Vintage

Pudas (a river branch) decoration features waves and stripes in two shades of blue on fresh white background. The decoration looks like a beautiful watercolour painting of a gently flowing river. The atmosphere is very balanced and calming. The Arabia Arctica model was inspired by the idea of making dishes that feel lovely to the touch. Holding one, you can really notice how the soft round edges are designed to feel pleasant against the hands and mouth. These dishes are like holding delicate and precious birds’ eggs. This model by Inkeri Leivo is one of Arabia Finland’s most bought series and has been in production since 1979. It was Arabia’s first vitro porcelain series, safe for oven, microwave, and dishwasher. It is also a very popular wedding present. This nordic vintage model has had several decorations, from which you can build your own little collection. Please also have a look at the other arctica model series: Bluebell, Pudas, and Aurora Borealis. A set of a cup and a saucer for hot drinks. Usually used for serving coffee- or espresso-based drinks but also hot chocolate or tea. The decoration on these cups is a beautiful lighter shade of blue. These cups are in good condition, there are still some minor imperfections on the glazing, such as tiny dark dots, bubbles or pinholes. Also, there is a slight sign of use such as scratches.
