The powered subwoofer utilizes a 12″ driver and is powered by the integrated 1000W (500W to subwoofer) amplifier, which combines with the column array to provide a frequency response of 43 Hz to 20 kHz with a maximum SPL output of 127 dB.System setup is simple and fast. Slide the magnetically locking mounting pole into the appropriate hole on top of the subwoofer, then place the column speaker array on the pole. You don’t have to run cables between the sub and speaker array; audio connectivity between them is made via internal cabling in the mounting pole. The EVOLVE 50 subwoofer features mic and line inputs via XLR-1/4″ combo jacks, stereo RCA and 3.5mm aux input jacks, and XLR thru and mix outputs. It is Bluetooth-enabled to allow wireless streaming of music from your smartphone or tablet. The on-board DSP functions, including mode presets, 3-band EQ, sub level, and more, can be adjusted via the sub’s rear-panel LCD display or a Bluetooth-connected mobile device.
